Pennies for Education and Health (PEH), an NGO is striving to send ripples of hope by supporting the less fortunate children in India.

PEH was established in 2006 in Ahmedabad by a group of family members and like-minded people who wanted to make serious contributions to society.

PEH has been working on the most sensitive issues of society like education for children, empowerment of women, and health care.

PEH provides education to the most vulnerable and deserving children via a donor-sponsorship program. The program extends to all children irrespective of caste, creed, faith, gender or ethnicity.

PEH also combines healthcare facilities along with education.

PEH has linked up with some of the famous healthcare institutions in Gujarat, such as Gujarat Cancer Society, The Polio Foundation, Amena Khatun General Hospital, Ahmedabad, Al-Amin Hospital, Shifa Multispeciality Hospital, Muawin Charitable Trust- Vadodara, Reliable Hospital- Balasinor, etc.

Round-the-clock Monitoring

Our journey does not end with a mere registration of a child in our organization, rather it begins thereon. We continuously monitor the progress of all the children enrolled with us, and strive to offer the state-of art facilities and rostrum that can make them first a better human being and then a productive citizen of a nation.

Awareness and Counseling

PEH strongly believes that education changes life and it continuously strives to bring this change by creating awareness of importance of education and counsels parents and students on one-to-one basis.

Basic Information

Pennies for Education and Health – a charitable trust, registered under the Income Tax Act 1961. It was established in 2006 in Ahmedabad, Gujarat with an objective to provide educational aid to the less fortunate children living in Gujarat and other states of India. PEH also provides aid to healthcare institutions in India.

Supporting Girl Child

PEH movement towards supporting a girl child and giving them a higher preference has made contribution in lowering the infant mortality and fertility rate in the country. An educated girl is a better homemaker, worker and the citizen too. In the coming years, PEH hopes to reinforce

Mission

Education is the fundamental right of each child and no child should be deprived of this basic right simply because of financial crutches and lack of resources.
To provide healthcare needs of these children and their families.
Women empowerment program to teach them employable skills to support their families.

Vision

To act as changing agents in India and provide financial aid to the poorest of the poor residing anywhere in India irrespective of caste, creed, race, ethnicity or gender.

Objectives

The child does not drop out due to financial constraints.
The child is provided proper counseling for further studies.
The girl-child is not deprived of studies.
Each and every child in the family goes to school.
Empower schools in economically low sector areas with good teacher-training programs.
